Job summary

Forest Lake Area Schools is seeking a School Age Care Program Aide at Lino Lakes Elementary School, starting August 24, 2026. The role supports activities in a safe, supervised after-school program and helps foster positive relationships with children, families and staff.

The position offers an early morning schedule (2 hours per day, 5 days per week, 200 days per year) with starting pay of $17.98 per hour. Must be 18+ with experience; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have experience working with school age children.
• Current CPR/AED & First Aid preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out activities and duties as assigned by site manager while maintaining a safe, supervised program.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and co-workers.
• Support school age children during program operations.

Job Description:

Responsible for carrying out the activities and duties assigned by the site or assistant site manager while maintaining a safe, supervised program; building positive relationships with children, families and co-workers.

Qualifications:

Must be 18+ years old and have experience working with school age children. Current CPR/AED & First Aid preferred.

Additional information:

The starting rate of pay is $17.98. Staff working less than 14 hours/week are under the General Policy Agreement and do not earn sick time or holiday pay.
