Job summary

CapTech Consulting is seeking a SaaS platform engineer to own and evolve our enterprise application ecosystem. You will lead technical ownership of SaaS and select on-prem platforms, driving automation, security, scalability, and user experience across CapTech.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting and administering complex cloud-based SaaS environments in professional or enterprise settings.
  • Ability to act as a trusted technical advisor and escalation point.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, Copilot.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Hands-on with platform configurations across a diverse SaaS portfolio.
  • Comfort with macOS and Windows CLI environments.
  • Understanding identity, authentication, and authorization models.
  • Ability to gather requirements, document clearly, and translate needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical owner for a portfolio of SaaS and select on-premises platforms supporting CapTech employees.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and implement AI-enabled tools that improve productivity, support, and operational insight.
  • Design, implement, and improve configurations, integrations, and access models.
  • Lead automation initiatives (AI Agents, PowerShell, APIs, workflows) to streamline provisioning, access management, audits, and processes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, Copilot).
  • Design and manage SSO integrations using SAML and OIDC with secure access patterns.
  • Partner with Security and IT Leadership to enforce least-privilege and governance.
  • Influence change management practices aligned with ITIL, balancing agility and stability.
  • Analyze trends, risks, and usage patterns to inform roadmap decisions.

The Opportunity:

CapTech is seeking aSaaSplatformengineerto play ahands-on role in the engineering, administration, and evolution of our enterprise application ecosystem.

This is not a traditional “support-only” role. You will serve as atechnical owner and subject matter expertfor critical SaaS and cloud platforms, driving automation, security, scalability, and user experience improvements across the organization. You’ll partner closely with ITOperations,InfoSec, and Business teams to design solutions that scaleand you’ll have the autonomy to influence tooling, architecture, and operational standards.

What You’ll Do:

Qualifications

Experience & Expertise:

  • Experiencesupporting and administering complexcloud-based SaaS environmentsin professional or enterprise settings
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as atrusted technical advisor andescalation point
  • Experience administering:
  • Microsoft 365 (including Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, and Copilot)
  • Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Platform configurations across a diverse portfolio of SaaS solutions
  • Comfort working in macOS and Windows CLI environments
  • Understanding of identity, authentication, and authorization models
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, author clear documentation, and translate business needs into workable technical solutions
