Job summary

Mighty Networks is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to own the operating model, forecast, budget, and monthly reporting. You’ll lead the analysis used by leadership for decision-making and work with product, engineering, sales, success, and marketing teams.

You will build and maintain SAS metrics, model pricing scenarios, and partner with accounting on the close. This role combines analytical rigor with strategic business partnership in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A, with meaningful time at a subscription software or SaaS.
• Own a forecast rather than contribute to one
• Build a three-statement operating model from scratch
• Fluent in Excel and Google Sheets, with clean, flexible models
• Understand SaaS metrics and their connection to cash
• Coordinate with controller and staff accountants on close and revenue recognition
• Work independently with proactive recommendations
• Communicate numbers clearly to non-finance leaders
• Pull data from Stripe, GL, CRM, and product database
• Use AI tools to automate reporting and build reusable skills

Responsibilities

• Own the company operating model and rolling forecast for revenue, headcount, Opex, and cash.
• Run annual budget and reforecast with department leaders.
• Produce monthly budget vs actuals and variance analysis for leadership.
• Maintain SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, gross margin.
• Model pricing, packaging, and new product scenarios and impact on revenue and cash.
• Forecast cost structure including hosting and third-party software spend.
• Prepare financial materials for board meetings and investor updates.
• Collaborate with accounting to ensure the numbers tie to the books.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses for leadership as needed.
