Job summary

NEOGOV, based in Draper, UT, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. This onsite role focuses on accurate invoicing for new contracts, renewals, and amendments, while collaborating across Sales, Renewals, and Revenue.

You will help ensure timely month-end close and maintain strong internal controls. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in SaaS billing, experience with high volumes, and proficiency with Salesforce and NetSuite.

Qualifications

5+ years in a SaaS Billing role.
Experience managing a large book of business with high billables.
Proficiency with SF Billing, NetSuite, Gmail, Adobe, Avalara.
Understanding Accounts Receivable procedures.
Experience with online SaaS products and services.

Responsibilities

Generate and process customer invoices, credits and adjusting invoices to co-term subscriptions.
Review contracts to determine invoicing needs and ensure policy compliance.
Collaborate with Sales to discuss inconsistencies and issues with new deals.
Coordinate renewal invoicing with Renewals and related teams.
Assist customers with billing inquiries in Salesforce (cases) and Google Chat.
Support month-end/year-end closing, audits and ad-hoc accounting projects.
