Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Senior Manager for S2P Analytics & Master Data to own data domains, governance, and analytics portfolio across supplier, taxonomy, item/service, contract, and risk data. You will drive data quality, lifecycle processes, and reporting that enables AI-enabled decision support.

The role partners with Finance, Legal, Risk, IT, and enterprise data teams to build scalable data foundations, dashboards, and self-service analytics for spend and supplier performance

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, procurement analytics, spend analytics, sourcing/procurement insights, BI, or Source-to-Pay environments.
• Strong understanding of how supplier, taxonomy, contract, risk, and reference data affect S2P execution, controls, analytics, automation, and reporting.
• Experience defining business-side data-governance models with ownership, stewardship, quality standards, workflows, and escalation routines.
• Experience building executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, roadmaps, and decision-support narratives.

Responsibilities

• Own the S2P data-domain governance, master data, taxonomy, and analytics portfolios.
• Lead data lifecycle processes: creation, enrichment, maintenance, validation, retirement, change control, and remediation.
• Define analytics product requirements and ensure adoption, audience targeting, and KPI alignment.
• Develop data-quality rules, validation, monitoring, and remediation playbooks across S2P data domains.
• Advance analytics automation and AI readiness, including self-service analytics and automated insights.
• Design and lead a sustainable operating model for data stewardship, intake, backlog, and governance.
• Collaborate with P2P, S2C, Strategy & Excellence, SBE, Risk, IT/Digital, and data platforms.
