Job description

Kevin’s Natural Foods is growing fast! We’re looking for an S&OP Implementation Lead with the strategic vision and operational know-how to help build the next evolution of our integrated planning capability. This hybrid role will shape the future of planning at one of the fastest‑growing clean‑label food brands in the heart of San Joaquin! As our S&OP Implementation Lead, you will co‑design the roadmap for S&OP implementation, engage senior leaders to create top‑down alignment, and guide the organization through cultural and process transformation. You’ll help modernize tools and systems, establish governance, and lead the change efforts needed to embed a disciplined, data‑driven planning cadence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Co‑develop and maintain the multi‑year S&OP implementation roadmap, including vision, maturity milestones, capability readiness, and an organizational change adoption strategy.

  • Translate business objectives into an actionable planning model connecting demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial processes.

Engage Leadership & Drive Alignment

  • Partner directly with senior leaders to establish S&OP as a shared enterprise priority and a top-down cultural expectation.

  • Facilitate worksops, alignment sessions, and training to prepare and guide senior leaders through S&OP roles, expectations, and decision‑rights necessary for an effective operating cadence.

  • Serve as the primary change agent and communicator for S&OP transformation.

Assess & Prepare the Organization

  • Evaluate current processes, planning behaviors, and cross‑functional readiness.

  • Build education, coaching, and support models that strengthen planning discipline and collaboration.

  • Shape a culture grounded in transparency, data fluency, and the operational excellence.

  • Assess existing planning tools, system capabilities, data quality, and reporting workflows.

  • Recommend future-state tool enhancements or potential investments to support more advanced S&OP maturity.

  • Partner with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure business requirements are clear and aligned.

Develop Governance & Lead Change Adoption

  • Design and launch S&OP governance frameworks, including roles, responsibilities, decision‑rights, escalation paths, and KPI structures.

  • Define the standard meeting cadence (Demand Review, Supply Review, Pre‑S&OP, Executive S&OP) and ensure process discipline.

  • Develop and execute change‑management plans that address communication, training, stakeholder management, and sustained adoption.

  • Build playbooks, process documentation, training materials, and readiness assessments.

  • Identify risks to adoption and proactively remove barriers to progress.

  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, or related transformation roles within food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing.

  • Experience with customer-centric organizational culture and short shelf-life products strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Demonstrated expertise in process design, change management, and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Working knowledge of planning tools (e.g. ERP, demand planning platforms) and core S&OP analytics.

  • Coaching mentality with ability to translate complexity into simple, actionable concepts.

  • A collaborative, low‑ego approach with the ability to influence without authority.
