NTW - National Tire Wholesale in Pooler, GA is hiring a full-time Warehouse Delivery Driver to provide dependable service, safely delivering tires and equipment to customers and supporting warehouse organization.

Responsibilities include operating company vehicles, loading trucks, complying with DOT rules, and maintaining vehicle readiness. Candidates should have 1+ year delivery experience, a clean MVR, and be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications

Safety 1st Mentality.
1+ years of delivery/box truck experience preferred.
1+ years of no at-fault accidents and clean MVR.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain DOT certification.
Must be 21 years or older.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally more.
Complete vehicle inspection reports as required by policy and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within policy.
Pick, stage and load trucks as requested.
Adhere to DOT hours of service requirements.
Maintain knowledge of products and operating procedures.
Deliver tires/equipment to customers on route.
Handle COD payments as required by policy.
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and work area.
Support with inventory organization in the warehouse.

Our Service and Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers by delivering product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles. Also assisting with the general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse.

This full time Warehouse Delivery Driver position can lead to career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
Maintain exception Customer Service based on our People Focused Values
Come to work in a Clean and Laundered Uniform that is provided by NTW
Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
Other duties as requested or needed

Maintain a current driverâ€™s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
Must be 21 years or older
Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
