NTW - National Tire Wholesale in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full-time Warehouse Delivery Driver to provide excellent service by delivering tires and related products in a safe, professional manner. You will assist with warehouse organization and inventory, operate company vehicles, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualificações

• Safety-first mindset and reliability.
• At least 1 year of delivery or box truck experience.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents for 1+ year.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license for vehicle type and be able to obtain DOT certification.

Responsabilidades

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently per policy.
• Load and unload shipments; stage orders for delivery.
• Adhere to DOT hours-of-service regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance checks.
• Deliver tires and equipment to customers per route.
• Report issues and ensure COD handling as required.

Our Service and Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers by delivering product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles. Also assisting with the general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse.

This full time Warehouse Delivery Driver position can lead to career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
• Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
• Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
• Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
• Maintain exception Customer Service based on our People Focused Values
• Come to work in a Clean and Laundered Uniform that is provided by NTW
• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
• Other duties as requested or needed

• Safety 1st Mentality
• 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
• 1+ years of no At-fault accidents,
• clean MVR
• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
