Job summary

NTW - National Tire Wholesale is hiring a Warehouse Delivery Driver in Bristow, VA. The role involves delivering products safely using company vehicles, maintaining routes and inventory integrity, and providing excellent customer service.

This full-time position offers growth opportunities within a national tire distributor. The job requires at least 1 year of box truck or delivery experience, a clean driving record, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT certification.

Qualifications

• Safety first mentality with a responsible work approach.
• 1+ years of box truck or delivery experience preferred.
• 1+ years of no at-fault accidents; clean MVR.
• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to vehicle classes.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally more.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently per policy.
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested.
• Follow DOT hours-of-service regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of products and procedures.
• Adhere to route sequencing when delivering to customers.
• Handle COD transactions as required per policy.
• Keep vehicle and work area clean and secure.
• Provide customer service aligned with company values.
• Report any issues and maintain safety standards.

Our Service and Delivery Drivers are responsible for delivering excellent service to our customers by delivering product in a professional and safe manner using company vehicles. Also assisting with the general maintenance and organization of inventory within the warehouse.

This full time Warehouse Delivery Driver position can lead to career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
• Pick, stage and load trucks as requested
• Understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
• Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
• Securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
• Maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
• Maintain exception Customer Service based on our People Focused Values
• Come to work in a Clean and Laundered Uniform that is provided by NTW
• Operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
• Other duties as requested or needed

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
• 1+ years of no At-fault accidents,
• clean MVR
• Maintain a current driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven during company business
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating an NTW vehicle
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and ability to occasionally lift more than 50lbs
• Complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
• Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws
• Employment is contingent upon a conditional offer and completion of all required pre-employment screenings, as permitted by law.
