Westside Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join a high-volume, collaborative team. The RVT will provide nursing care, anesthesia monitoring, and anesthesia-related duties across small animals and birds.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of clinical experience, holds a Colorado RVT license (or eligible to transfer within 3 months), and excels in animal handling, client communication, and teamwork. 4/10 schedule with some Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years veterinary clinical experience required.
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Colorado or eligible to transfer license within 3 months.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment; passion for small animals, birds and owners.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care in a busy veterinary hospital.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures including intubation and recovery.
• Perform IV catheter placement and blood draws; manage lab tasks.
