Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Strong customer service skills and empathetic approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination, treatment, and monitoring of animals.
• Educate clients about animal care and Wellness Plans.
• Prepare surgical suites and assist in surgical procedures.

Skills

Handling and restraining dogs, cats, and exotic animals

Providing basic animal care

Knowledge of common veterinary procedures

Excellent customer service focus

Strong communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree a plus

Must maintain valid certification as CVT, RVT, or LVT
