Job summary

CityVet Lone Tree is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to help maintain excellent patient care in a collaborative hospital where technicians are respected, trusted, and encouraged to grow. Your knowledge won’t sit on the sidelines.

We value technicians who love learning, ask questions, and advocate for their patients, while supporting a vet-led team that emphasizes high medical standards and professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Holds valid State License as Certified Veterinary Technician.
• Understanding and ability to properly, and safely, restrain animals.
• Knowledgeable on veterinary medical terminology and medication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent patient care and operational productivity by helping the Veterinarian leverage their time and efforts to meet the needs of their clients and patients.
• Relieve the Veterinarian from technical work and administrative detail to achieve greater levels of efficiency in daily practice.
• Facilitate and streamline communication from the operating room to the front office staff and client.
