Job summary

RV Outfitters of Texas, a division of Motorhomes of Texas, is hiring a Lot Porter / Service Technician Assistant to support the retail and service lot operations. This hands-on role involves cleaning exterior and interior of RVs for retail and delivery preparation, and helping the service team as needed.

You will work Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00, maintain orderly displays, and ensure inventory is ready for customers. A valid driver's license and willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to learn and perform a wide range of tasks.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and reliability.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Exterior cleaning of RVs for retail and delivery to customers.
• Final interior cleaning of sold units prior to delivery.
• Move RVs on the lot and assist Service Technicians as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of interiors and exteriors on the lot and parking area.
• Ensure all inventory is on display and accessible.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

RV Outfitters of Texas is a Division of Motorhomes of Texas that has been in business since 2018. RV Outfitters is a travel trailer and fifth wheel dealership serving Nacogdoches, Lufkin, and surrounding areas. RVO is growing and in need of a Lot Porter / Service Technician Assistant. We are seeking candidates who are dedicated to and take pride in their work. We will train the right candidate; you bring enthusiasm, character, drive, and desire to be successful!

This position is hands-on and requires an individual who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, pays attention to detail and can clearly communicate information.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Exterior cleaning of RV’s for retail sales and delivery to customers
• Final cleaning of the interior of sold units in preparation for delivery to customers
• Moving RV’s on the sales / service lot
• Assist Service Technicians as needed
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the interiors and exteriors of RV’s on the lot
• Help to keep the parking lot clean
• Assist in ensuring all available inventory is on display
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance would be advantageous
• Detail oriented and organized
• Willingness to learn and to perform a wide range of allocated tasks
