Job summary

Campers Inn RV is seeking an RV Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and demonstrate RVs. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair tasks in a growing, values-based company.

This safety-sensitive position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to use hand and power tools. Prior RV service is preferred and a commitment to safety is essential.

Qualifications

• This is a safety sensitive position.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
• A minimum of one year of RV service experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety manuals.
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to wear protective clothing and use protective equipment as needed or required as per OSHA regulations.
• Ability to tow RVs of various sizes as needed.
• Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, interior carpentry, exteriors etc to ensure proper operating condition.
• Perform routine maintenance.
• Test drive RVs to diagnose to ensure that they are working properly.
• Demonstrate use, function and features and how to perform basic maintenance of the RV.
