Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) for our growing team. The ideal candidate will have advanced diagnostic and repair skills for RV coach systems, generators, and body repairs, with a passion for fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and maintenance problems.

We offer pay to certify individuals not already certified and a path to develop in a busy RV service environment. Safety, quality work, and thorough documentation are emphasized across this role.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful but applicable work experience counts
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress
• Ensure final work product meets quality standards and is inspected
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers
