Job summary

Platinum Coach RV in Fort Myers, FL seeks an experienced RV Technician to diagnose and repair coach systems, appliances, and more. You will work in our shop and on mobile service calls, with steady work and growth opportunities.

Requirements include 2+ years in RV repair, strong electrical diagnostics, and the ability to work independently or with a team. A valid driver's license and your own basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in RV, automotive, diesel, marine, or similar repair.
• Diesel mechanic schooling is a plus.
• Solid electrical diagnostic skills, comfortable with meters and wiring diagrams.
• Working knowledge of RV appliances and coach systems (RVTI or RVIA certification is a plus).
• Ability to work independently on mobile calls and as part of a shop team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair coach systems: 12V and 120V electrical, plumbing, slide-outs, leveling systems, and multiplex controls.
• Service and repair RV appliances, including refrigerators, water heaters, furnaces, A/C units, and generators.
• Install upgrades such as lithium battery systems, inverters, and solar.
• Document your work clearly in Shopmonkey, including findings, photos, and recommendations.
• Communicate repair needs to the service team so customers get accurate quotes and updates.
• Keep your work area, tools, and service vehicle clean and organized.
