Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) in Minnesota. You will diagnose and repair RV coach systems, generators, and coach body components, applying advanced diagnostic and repair skills with attention to detail.

The role requires trade-school certification or relevant experience; RVIA certification helps but is not required. You must furnish your own tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a safety-conscious environment with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in a trade field is helpful but applicable work experience is also considered.
• Experience in RV service, diagnostics, and repairs is preferred.
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools and be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat–Rate) for our growing team.

We are ideally looking for someone with advanced diagnostic and repair skills for Recreational Vehicle (RV) coach systems, generators and coach body repairs. Someone who is passionate about fixing mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and maintenance problems would be ideal. A successful Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician will have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated and well-versed in all maintenance and repairs. Camping World will pay to certify individuals not already certified. What You’ll Do

What You'll Need To Have For The Role

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience
• Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
• RVIA certification helpful but not required RVIA certification helpful but not required
• Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
• Possible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending
• Must furnish own hand/shop tools
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
• Valid driver's license preferred
• May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.

Pay Range

$22.55-$53.48 Hourly
