Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Service Technician (Flat-Rate) for our growing team in Florida. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostics and repairs on RV coach systems, generators, and body components, with strong focus on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks.

We’ll reimburse certifications and encourage growth; prior RVIA certification helps but is not required. You must be able to lift, stand for long periods, and use your own hand tools.

Qualifications

• Certification from college or technical school in trade field is helpful but work experience is also considered.
• Minimum of 1 year service technician experience or related fields preferred.
• RVIA certification helpful but not required.
• Prolonged lifting and standing, exposure to heights and hazards with electrical and welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance.
• Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
• Keep supervisor apprised of work progress.
• Ensure final work meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
