Job summary

Blue Compass RV is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance systems on RVs. No engine work required.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, install accessories, and document diagnostics and repairs. Must have 1+ year experience; valid driver's license; comfortable with hand/power tools; ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs. Training and career growth provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in mechanical, maintenance, repair, or technical repair (RV experience a plus).
• Comfortable using hand/power tools and working in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, heights, noise, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistance
• Basic hand/shop tools required

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance on RVs including oil changes, battery checks, tire/brake checks, and sealant inspections
• Install RV accessories including hitches, slide toppers, awnings, backup cameras, satellite systems, furniture, and more
• Track all parts and materials used and ensure proper documentation of diagnostics, cause, and repairs in work orders
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and managers about job status, additional needs, and timing
• Ensure the final product meets quality standards before returning to the customer
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
• Attend required paid company training and stay up to date with product knowledge

Compensation: $20.00-$32.00/hourly flat rate

We’re Hiring Individuals with Experience in: Automotive, appliance repair, carpentry, electrical, HVAC / AC systems, general maintenance and plumbing

What We Are Looking for:

• 1+ year of experience in mechanical, maintenance, repair, or technical repair (RV experience a plus)
• Comfortable using hand/power tools and working in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, heights, noise, etc.)

Preferred but Not Required:

• Certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trade
• RVTI or RVIA certification
• Experience with diagnostic software or systems used in RV maintenance
