Job summary

Jayco Family seeks a dedicated team member to support the Factory Service Shop by maintaining high cleanliness standards for all units, both inside and out. You will work closely with repair technicians to ensure completed repairs and report issues to the lead technician, contributing to a well-organized shop environment.

The role requires basic communication skills, the ability to use hand tools, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is desired.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with co-workers, management, customers and others to enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

Purpose:

This position exists to support the Factory Service Shop by assuring a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

Essential functions

• Responsible for the interior and exterior cleanliness of all units in the Factory Service Shop.
• Assists repair technicians to ensure all authorized repairs are completed.
• Reports repair issues to lead technician.
• Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the Factory Service Shop.

Experience/ Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent is desired.

Necessary Skills & Abilities

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude through periods of adversity and disagreement.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with co-workers, management, customers and others to enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

Work Requirements

• This position may require working in extremes in temperature & environment while performing moderately physical activity.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• This position is a full-time position, which may require some flexibility in hours & days worked (including Saturdays, as needed).
• Regular attendance is required.
