Job summary

Camping World is seeking a Technician Detailer to join our growing team in a hybrid dealership role. The position focuses on cleaning RVs inside and out, prepping units for sale, and maintaining a safe, organized work area while performing light mechanical tasks such as battery installs and minor repairs.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, detailing or housekeeping experience, and the ability to handle physical work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Housekeeping or car detailing experience is preferred.
• Experience in light mechanical work.
• Must possess a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending.
• May lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
• Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness.

Responsibilities

• Clean RVs inside and outside.
• Prep RV for customer purchase and showroom floor.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform light mechanical work such as installing batteries, applying putty sticks, applying silicone, helping hang awnings, etc.
• May cross train to perform other duties (driving forklifts, etc.).
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager.
