Job summary

Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, VA, is seeking a Pediatric Physician to join our Lifepoint Health-supported team. The role involves in-office care, newborn nursery support, and limited inpatient duties within a community-focused rural setting.

The compensation package features a competitive base salary with wRVU production bonus, sign-on and relocation assistance, paid time off, retirement plan, comprehensive benefits, student loan repayment, and CME allowances.

Responsibilities

• In-office care consists of 20–25 patients per day with 40–50 new patients a month.
• Traditional model includes an outpatient clinic, newborn nursery, minimal inpatient and delivery care.
• Shared call with colleagues, 10 days minimum with one weekend per month.
• Office located less than 1 mile from the hospital; service area includes Galax and surrounding counties.
• In-office lab for rapid tests and CBCs; Lactation Consulting provided.
