Job summary

USPS is seeking Assistants Rural Carriers nationwide to deliver and pick up packages on designated suburban and rural routes. The role is primarily on weekends and holidays, outdoors, and involves using your personal vehicle when needed.

You will assist customers, sort and distribute mail, and perform clerical tasks to support daily USPS operations, including services such as mail forwarding, holds, and address changes.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance : Address mail-related questions and service issues from customers
• Mail Handling : Sort, label, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently
• Clerical Work : Perform administrative support tasks to aid daily USPS operations
• Service Support : Assist with services such as mail forwarding, package holds, and change-of-address requests
