Job summary

Clemson University’s Rural Health Extension program seeks a Rural Health Agent to plan, implement, maintain and evaluate educational programs for adults and youth within Orangeburg and Colleton Counties, collaborating with county and state staff.

The position focuses on program development, partnerships, and outreach, delivering in-person and online education, documenting impacts, and supporting office operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations.
• Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.
• Doesn’t provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may manage fund allocation.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of Extension education programs.
• Collaborate with county/state staff and partners to deliver programming to adult and youth audiences.
• Assess local needs and deliver educational programming via direct and indirect methods, including online/virtual tactics.
• Document programming impacts for targeted stakeholders.
