Job summary

Vernon Memorial Healthcare in Viroqua, Wisconsin is seeking a General Surgeon to join its award-winning rural healthcare team in a four-suite facility. The role sits within a collaborative surgery program offering outpatient procedures in rural clinics and an active general surgery call schedule.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or better is required.
• 2-5 years post-residency experience preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications include DOC of Osteopathic Med, Doctor of Medicine, DEA, ACLS Adv Card Life Support, PALS Ped Adv Life Support, and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery services in a rural, critical access hospital setting.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
• Participate in an active outpatient practice and community-based clinics.
• Share general surgery call at 1:3 ratio.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, kindness, and collaboration.
