Job summary
Our client, a community-focused healthcare organization in northeastern New Mexico, seeks a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide comprehensive primary care in Clayton, NM. You will diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and care for patients of all ages in a collaborative rural outpatient setting.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, order and interpret lab tests, maintain EMR/EHR documentation, and follow HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner licensure and current professional certification.
- Experience in family medicine, primary care, or outpatient healthcare.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and CPT/ICD-10 coding.
- Ability to care for diverse patient populations, including children and seniors.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations and preventive care visits.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for all ages.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Order and interpret lab tests and imaging.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR and adhere to HIPAA.
