Job summary

UT Health East Texas Physicians seeks a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join the Rusk Rural Health clinic team, collaborating with two FM NPs and one FM PA. The practice supports teaching medical students and residents in an Epic EMR environment.

The position offers four clinic days per week, clinic call, and on-site lab and X-ray services in a supportive East Texas community near UT Health Jacksonville. Ambience AI enhances documentation and workflow.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Family Medicine.
• Experience in a rural clinic setting preferred.
• Ability to teach students, residents, and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Join the Rusk Rural Health clinic team of 2 FM NPs and 1 FM PA.
• Manage a daily patient load of 18-22 patients on a 4-day clinic week.
• Provide clinic call coverage and onsite lab/x-ray support.
