Job summary

Frontera Healthcare Network seeks a Staff Physician (MD or DO) to deliver comprehensive primary care in Brady, TX. You will work with an integrated team to serve patients of all ages in a rural outpatient clinic, strengthening community health and access.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, coordinating referrals, and ensuring accurate EHR documentation while supporting PCMH principles and ongoing quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active Texas physician license.
• DEA and DPS registrations to practice in Texas.
• BLS or CPR for Healthcare Professionals certification.
• Up-to-date CME requirements and specialty board compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct primary care with patients of all ages in an outpatient rural clinic.
• Formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, coordinate referrals, and review tests.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation per network protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses, staff, and behavioral health providers while mentoring students.
• Support PCMH principles and participate in quality improvement activities.
