Job summary

Henderson County Rural Health Center DBA Eagle View Community Health System in West Central Illinois seeks a compassionate Dentist to join our rural Federally Qualified Health Center. You will provide comprehensive dental care, emphasizing preventive, restorative, and emergency services within a patient-centered team environment.

The successful candidate will bring a DDS or DMD, experience in a rural or community health setting, and a commitment to high-quality care for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Experience in rural or community health setting preferred.
• Knowledge of FQHC operations and compliance is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Provide preventive care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education.
• Deliver restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions.
• Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with FQHC and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote oral health awareness.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe clinical environment.
