Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a warehouse associate to operate pallet jack equipment and move pallets throughout the facility. You will follow safety standards and company policies while handling inbound and outbound shipments. This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, working in cold and dry storage environments, and flexible shifts including weekends.

You will verify pallets are wrapped and report damages. Lineage offers a stable work environment with safety training and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Basic math skills may be required.
• Ability to understand instructions.
• Able to work in temperatures from -20 F to 100 F with PPE.
• Must lift a minimum of 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Flexible work schedule including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Use pallet jack to move pallets to the scheduled door for shipping.
• Move pallets within the warehouse to storage locations.
• Find products requested in work orders.
• Inspect products for damages and report to lead/supervisor.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped before hauling into docks.
• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine and invert pallets as needed.
• May operate other material handling equipment.

Job description

Operate pallet jack equipment to move pallets and product from one place to another while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use pallet jack equipment to move the pallet to the scheduled door to ship
• Move pallets from the inbound dock door to locations inside the warehouse to be put away
• Find products requested in work orders
• Change over pallets for picking, visually review items for damages or flaws; document and report damages to lead/supervisor
• Confirm all pallets being hauled into the warehouse or dock doors are wrapped to the top

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wrap pallets using a wrap machine, based on location
• Invert pallets using a pallet inverter, based on location
• May work with other machinery and material handling equipment

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• Basic math skills may be required depending on facility
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
