Job summary

Flytrex is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver in Denton, TX to support drone-delivery operations. You will pickup orders from local QSRs and deliver to the launch site, following routes and schedules. The role requires a valid license, a clean driving record, and reliable use of a runner app. Weekend shifts are included with mileage reimbursement.

Hours run 08:00–14:30 or 14:30–21:30; site operates 7 days a week. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States with no sponsorship needed.
• Experience using delivery/routing apps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items to the launch site from local QSRs.
• Follow routes and time schedules.
• Load, unload, inspect, and operate your vehicle.
• Complete reports and communicate via runner app / radio.
• Make hand deliveries when weather permits drone flights.

Flytrex is revolutionizing the on-demand delivery field by making drone delivery a reality, working with companies such as Walmart, Chilis, El Pollo Loco and others, we're turning science fiction into reality. Following successful pilots in the US, we're aiming to expand our operation nationwide and are looking for delivery drivers to make our reality a success. In this role you will pickup orders from local QSR's and deliver them back to the launch site. Shift hours are 08:00am-2:30pm, or 2:30pm-9:30pm.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to our launch site from local QSR's.
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate your own vehicle
• Complete reports
• Use a runner app to make pick-ups
• Communicate with 2-way radio or cellular device

Requirements:

• Good driving record with no traffic violations

Additional Info:

• Site open 7 days a week
• Operating hours 8:00a - 9:30p daily
• Looking for part-time (36 hours or less a week) including Weekends
• Required use of own vehicle
• Required to make hand deliveries when weather permits us from flying the drone

Additional compensation:

• Mileage reimbursement during working hours for all pickups
