Job summary

Flytrex is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to support on-demand drone delivery operations in Texas, including weekends. You will pick up orders from local QSRs and deliver to the launch site, operate your own vehicle, and maintain schedules.

Hours are 08:00am-2:30pm, or 2:30pm-9:30pm, and the role requires reliable transportation, a valid license, and a clean driving record. Mileage reimbursement offered during working hours.

• Must be able to operate vehicle and follow safety practices.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Flytrex is revolutionizing the on-demand delivery field by making drone delivery a reality, working with companies such as Walmart, Chilis, El Pollo Loco and others, we’re turning science fiction into reality. Following successful pilots in the US, we’re aiming to expand our operation nationwide and are looking for delivery drivers to make our reality a success. In this role you will pickup orders from local QSR's and deliver them back to the launch site. Shift hours are 08:00am-2:30pm, or 2:30pm-9:30pm.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past five years
• Must have valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past three years

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to our launch site from local QSR's.
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate your own vehicle
• Complete reports
• Use a runner app to make pick-ups
• Communicate with 2-way radio or cellular device

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations

Additional Info

• Site open 7 days a week
• Operating hours 8:00a - 9:30p daily
• Looking for part-time (36 hours or less a week) including Weekends
• Required use of own vehicle
• Required to make hand deliveries when weather permits us from flying the drone
