Job summary

Brooks Running is seeking a Manager of Run Research Mental Performance & Experience to unlock the future of the run. You will lead researchers studying emotional, behavioral, and psychological drivers of running, and translate findings into actionable product insights across footwear and apparel.

You will oversee studies spanning elite athletes to everyday runners, collaborating with biomechanics, physiology, and data science teams to enhance runner enjoyment, motivation, and emotional

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in cognitive neuroscience, sport psychology, performance psychology, experimental psychology, cognitive science or related field; 3+ years of experience or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Run Research Lab team of researchers and guide project work across product cycles.
  • Plan and execute studies aligning with product and innovation priorities.
  • Translate complex runner experiences into measurable scientific insights for product solutions.
  • Collaborate with biomechanics, physiology and data science to understand the runner holistically.
  • Develop research frameworks to understand attention, motivation and emotional regulation.
