Job summary

CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. seeks a Business Rule Software Engineer to design, develop, migrate, and maintain rule-based applications and decision services.

You will work with product, engineering, architecture, QA, and business stakeholders to implement technical solutions and ensure reliable delivery of rule-based functionality. As part of CCC’s modernization efforts, you will contribute to rule engine capabilities and collaborate across teams in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and Java or similar language.
• Understanding of SDLC practices and APIs/SQL.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain rule-based components and applications.
• Support ILOG JRules / IBM ODM development, migration, and modernization efforts.
• Assist with analysis and migration of rule repositories and rule inventory.
• Translate business requirements into technical rule-based solutions.
• Build and support decision services aligned with business rules.
