Job summary

Coda Octopus Engineering Inc. in Murray, UT is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer and PCBA Engineer to design, test, and troubleshoot rugged PCBA solutions for underwater sonar and rugged military computing systems.

The role involves design, simulation, build, validation, and support for production, plus occasional travel and security clearance readiness in a small engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years in rugged electronics, PCBA development.
• Experience with Altium for schematics and PCB layouts.
• Hands-on lab experience building PCBA, cables, and system bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, build, test, and troubleshoot digital, analog, power electronics and mixed-signal circuitry and PCBAs.
• Create and modify schematics and board designs in Altium.
• Develop testing methods, software, and equipment.
• Support system specs, datasheets, and manuals.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers for production.
