Job summary

Core Systems in Poway, California is seeking a skilled Computer Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will assemble computer components, test equipment, and build subassemblies and chassis according to drawings, blueprints and written instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year direct related experience; 2+ preferred.
• Proven experience in computer assembly.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble computer components according to specifications.
• Use tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, taps, tests, and other hand/bench equipment.
• Under limited supervision work from assembly procedures, prints, verbal and written instructions to build computers, subassemblies, cable harness, and complete computer systems.
• Communicate ideas that help improve the process, quality, product or work conditions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
