Zen Software Solutions Private Limited in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer with exposure to AWS, PostgreSQL, and modern web technologies. The role spans software development, testing, DevOps, and database optimization, with collaboration across cross-functional and offshore teams.

You will build scalable applications using RoR, React, and HAML, implement tests with RSpec/Jest/TestCafe, and participate in DevOps processes.

Qualifications

2+ years of software development experience.
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, HAML and Clojure.
Experience with RSpec, Jest and TestCafe.
Knowledge of Git, JIRA, and BuildKite.
Experience deploying to AWS and working with databases.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails, React, Redux, HAML, and Clojure.
Implement testing frameworks including RSpec, Jest, and TestCafe.
Manage DevOps processes using Git, JIRA, BuildKite, and Sidekiq.
Deploy and manage applications in AWS environments.
Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for data storage and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore staff, to define scope and deliverables.
Participate in user stories and estimation; coordinate delivery with offshore teams.
