TSE Industries in Clearwater, FL seeks a Material Handler to weigh chemicals and raw materials for molding operations. You will prepare compounds, mix ingredients, and verify weights per formula sheets, supporting manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities include using the lab for material checks, entering data into the ERP system, and assisting with cycle counts and inventories. Strong accuracy, safety awareness, and teamwork are essential.
Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Responsible for weighing chemicals and raw materials for use in the manufacture of finished goods. Prepares compound for molding or extruding operations. Blends materials on rubber mills.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least five years of related experience or training.
Ability to read and understand provided documents. Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, weight and volume, along with other basic math calculations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands, fingers, and arms. Employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. The employee is expected to use a team lift approach or the appropriate equipment for items weighing >50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
