Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Rubber Products Specialist to leverage strong customer service and rubber product technical skills to train, implement, and execute rubber product marketing programs. You will collaborate with Account Managers to assess client conveyor needs and deliver tailored solutions.

You will help drive customer satisfaction and sales results by engaging with customers, providing technical guidance, and supporting installations and program development across

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven technical lightweight conveyor belt sales and service experience or belt service, fabrication, installation experience
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; pass background check and drug test; must be at least 21
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Training or presentation experience is a plus
• Listening, negotiating and effective questioning skills
• Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
• Willingness to travel 1–3 nights per month

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conveyor belt/rubber product initiatives with Service Centers and Regional Managers
• Present rubber product/conveyor belt concepts to internal teams and customers
• Conduct training for internal staff and customers
• Make joint sales calls with field sales staff
• Assist in data collection; share case histories and application data
• Help set and meet/exceed sales targets and execute plans
• Participate in installations and repairs
