Job summary

Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies, is seeking a Rubber Calendar operator to join its manufacturing team in Florida. Under supervision of the Floor Supervisor, you will produce rubber material used in hose products, while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will follow standardized work, participate in Lean and 5S initiatives, read specifications, and communicate clearly with maintenance and team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
• Sound decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Good math, reading, and writing skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and 5S principles to maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Read and interpret technical specifications; communicate information clearly.
• Follow standardized work instructions and ensure quality checks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean activities.
• Work with maintenance to resolve equipment issues.
• Be prepared for extended shifts and overtime when required.
