Yulista Contract Services LLC is seeking a Flight Engineer to perform on-site maintenance and support for Army AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Duties include conducting maintenance flights, fault isolation, and in-flight assistance to pilots under FAA and Army guidance.
Requirements include an FAA A&P license or military repair training (H-47), 7 years aircraft maintenance or 4 years RDT&E in rotary wing, APU currency, NVG currency, US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Yulista Contract Services LLC Regular Primary Function: Yulista Contract Service is providing full on-site / off-site maintenance flight/Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate (AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20. Areas for support to be provided include completion of all maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and management of internal contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.
Perform all duties and responsibilities as a flight engineer. Perform in-flight duties and assist the pilots, consistent with established Service or FAA standards. Provide aviation maintenance and repair services, as well as developmental and operational test and evaluation support, to include testing of aircraft, aviation systems and associated support equipment. Organizational/intermediate level maintenance experience. Meet all requirements, as a non-rated crewmember IAW with service guidance for specific design, type, and series aircraft which duties are to be performed.
Must have experience in all aspects or safety, documentation, HAZMAT, training/licenses/certifications, scheduling, production control and management. Must have analytical ability combined with knowledge and application of assurance principles and techniques. Must meet minimum flight hour requirements as Flight Engineer as specified in AR 95-20. Must hold a valid, current FAA or military Class III Medical Certificate, as prescribed by the Government. Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Required to have an FAA A&P license or have completed a military aircraft repairer school in following aircraft platform (H-47 Series), with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or 4 years verifiable RDT&E experience in rotary wing aircraft Army Aviation maintenance. Must qualify and maintain currency in aircraft auxiliary power units (APUs). Assist in student training, and training others to perform flight engineer duties. Must pass a contractor or military evaluation initially and annually thereafter. Must maintain night vision goggles (NVG) currency. Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience. Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
