Acuren is recruiting for an RT Level II Technician to support operations in Kingsport, TN. This embedded role will include occasional local travel and relocation assistance for qualified applicants.

Relocation assistance available for qualified applicants. The position is an embedded role with local travel as needed, on-site in Kingsport, TN.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some college preferred.
• Certified Level II RT (CR/DR a plus).
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with specifications or standards and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for a RT Level II Technician (CR/DR a plus) to support operations in Kingsport, TN. THIS WILL BE AN EMBEDDED ROLE WITH OCCASIONAL LOCAL CALLOUT/TRAVEL.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment


• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection


• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations


• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results


• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators


• Organize and report test results


• Perform specialized inspections


• May instruct and supervise others


• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements
