Job summary

Lancesoft in Dallas, TX seeks an Aircraft Interior Installation Technician I to remove, install, and fabricate interior components under close supervision.

Responsibilities include following work orders, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating with QA to meet FAA requirements. Candidate must have high school diploma and hands-on experience with tools; strong English communication is essential. This is a 48-month contract-to-hire, onsite at Dallas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Aircraft installation, fabrication, maintenance, or related hands-on experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, procedures, and specifications.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with material tracking systems.
• Commitment to safety, 5S, PPE and working in restricted areas.

• Remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components.
• Perform installation and fit-up activities according to work orders and specifications.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to meet quality and FAA/Repair Station requirements.
• Use material tracking systems to create parts demands, track squawks, and complete paperwork.
• Safely operate and maintain hand tools and shop equipment.
• Follow established SOPs, safety procedures, 5S, and housekeeping requirements.
• Support aircraft certification and final-phase testing as required.

Job Details

• Pay Range: $20-24.50/hr
• Contract: On W2 (Without Benefit)
• Duration: 48 Months (contract to hire)

Job Description

The Interior Installation Technician I will work under close supervision to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components while following company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves working with components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and vanity ledge fill panels.

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Aircraft installation, fabrication, maintenance, or related hands‑on experience preferred
• Experience using hand tools and shop equipment
• Ability to use tools such as band saws, shears, sanders, and brakes
• Ability to read and follow work orders, procedures, and specifications
• Basic computer skills and ability to use material tracking systems
• Ability to follow safety, 5S, housekeeping, and PPE requirements
• Ability to work in small or restricted areas
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and lift to 40 lbs.
• Strong English communication skills
