• BLS certification is required.
• Ordinarily two or more years of undergrad coursework in respiratory care are preferred.
• NBRC RRT examination completion is expected; a Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.

Job Description

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for our Respiratory Department. The Respiratory Therapist performs usual and advanced respiratory therapy techniques as described in the Policy & Procedure Manual. The primary function is to treat, perform diagnostic tests, evaluate therapy, and make recommendations to the physician related to the respiratory system.

Requirements

Education: Training for RRT equivalent to two or more year’s undergraduate work is preferred. Has successfully completed the Registered Respiratory Therapist exam administered by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy strongly preferred.

Experience: Previous work experience as staff therapist is desired.

SKILLS: BLS required.
