Qualifications
Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment.
Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
Must obtain PALS within 6 months of employment.
Registered Respiratory Therapist or equivalent certification required.
Responsibilities
Perform focused exams and interpret breath sounds.
Deliver oxygen support and aerosolized medications.
Assist with artificial airway placement.
Educate patients and families about their care.
Ensure readiness of respiratory equipment and follow safety standards.
