Qualifications

• Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of employment.
• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
• Must obtain PALS within 6 months of employment.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist or equivalent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused exams and interpret breath sounds.
• Deliver oxygen support and aerosolized medications.
• Assist with artificial airway placement.
• Educate patients and families about their care.
• Ensure readiness of respiratory equipment and follow safety standards.
