Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC.
• Licensed/credentialed as Respiratory Care Practitioner in PA; BLS/CPR per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients and reviewing clinical data to determine respiratory care needs.
• Administering respiratory therapies and medications.
• Operating and monitoring ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Performing pulmonary diagnostic testing and therapeutic procedures.
• Responding to emergencies and assisting with ventilated patient transport.
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation and collaborating with care teams.
• Educating and mentoring students and new staff.
