Career Crunch is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to measure lung capacity, analyze samples, deliver therapies, and respond to emergencies. The role requires NC RRT licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications, with a strong focus on patient education and outcome tracking.

The successful candidate will maintain respiratory equipment, contribute to policy development, and participate in ongoing education to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Current NC RRT license is required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications are required.

Responsabilités

• Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer and EKGs.
• Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors patient condition and response to treatment.
• Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides interventions.
• Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures.
• Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and resources.
• Monitors and maintains respiratory supplies and equipment readiness.
