Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team in Rio Rancho, NM. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders as part of a dedicated team.

The role offers night shifts with differential pay and opportunities for growth, including tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness through NM programs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and NM licensure.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) certification.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license NM.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.
• 6–12 months of critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures.
• Initiate ventilator protocols and management.
• Perform advanced airway care including intubation.
• Initiate and monitor Nitric Oxide delivery.
• In NICU, perform Surfactant delivery and related duties.
• Other department duties and career ladder participation.
