Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Georgia is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for full-time day shifts. You will perform patient assessments, adult and neonatal respiratory care procedures, and neonatal care in Labor and Delivery, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

This role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, neonatal care experience or orientation with competency validation, and current licenses (RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS).

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• Experience in neonatal respiratory care or completion of orientation with validated competencies.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and respiratory care procedures for adult and neonatal patients.
• Maintains and manages equipment and educates patients and families, including neonatal care in Labor and Delivery.

Piedmont Eastside, Full Time Days

Responsibilities

Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures, respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery, blood gas analysis and interpretation, maintenance and management of equipment and patient and family education in both adult and neonatal areas. Qualifications:

Education

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required

Work Experience

• Previous Working Experience in Neonatal Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• ACLS Upon Hire Required and
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Upon Hire Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
