Job summary

Palm Beach Health Network - Tenet in Riviera Beach, Florida seeks a Level III Registered Respiratory Therapist. The RRT-III will provide pulmonary care per physician orders, work in NICU/trauma ICU settings, and handle ventilators and airway management. 40 hours per week with night shifts.

Requires Florida 'Registered Respiratory Therapist' licensure, graduation from a Respiratory Care Program, and BLS/CPR; ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days. Up to $25,000 SOB over 24 months may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program.
• Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
• BLS/CPR (American Heart Association) and ACLS/PALS certifications.
• 0-2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and BIPAP/CPAP machines and perform associated airway management duties.
• Demonstrate critical care assessment, judgment, and decision making for trauma step down and trauma code scenarios.
• Perform advanced respiratory care procedures and administer respiratory therapy as prescribed.
• Daily job performance and adherence to department policies.
